Midsummer dancing and Ice cream

Today I will share two layouts with you. The first one shows some pictures from the special midsummer occasion that we celebrate in Sweden in June. As flowers are very important at this occasion I wanted a lot of flowers on the layout.

The background is from Sassafras Lass Sunshine Broadcast. I made my own mask that depicts a maypole (cf. on the picture) and spayed with blue mist. I filled in the outlines with a pen.

The embellishments are from Basic Grey, K & Company etc.

The second layout is kind of special to me as it’s made out of papers that I won at a Blog Candy at Scraplagret (a Swedish webshop – one of the very best in my opinion). This is the first time ever that I entered a blog candy and I did it because I just loved the colors in these papers. To me they were “ice cream colors” so I saved them for this “ice cream layout”.

I sprayed the background with yellow and lime mists. I also stamped with yellow ink on a mask. The edges were colored with pink ink.
I used a lot of dies and punches as I wanted to use a lot of different papers. I also used some doilies bought at the flea market, stickers from Prima and October Afternoon.

Thank you SO much for looking!!!
