This layout is made for the ongoing challenge at The Lollipop Ladies. The inspiration is fruit salad with banana, kiwi, water melon and strawberries. Except for those colors you should also have something round or square on your work.
The layout is about me and my daughter – that we love to spend time together and that ordinary days are filled with happy moments. I thought that these happy, brightly-colored photos were perfect for the fruit salad colors!
I had an idea about writing the title on “flags” on a pole and I made one “flag” in each of the colors.
I also took the chance to use the “flowers” and patterns from Cosmo Cricket ‘Salt Air’ that I’m very fond of.
The journaling is written on a transparent journaling card from Maya Road. The dots on the background are made with glimmer mist and a mask.
Mask: Crafters Workshop; Glimmer Mist: Sun Sisters; Edge Punch: EK Martha Stewart; Paper: Cosmo Cricket Salt Air (‘Coral Blooms’ &‘Half Shell’), Eco Park For the Record (kiwi), Bo Bunny Gabrielle (water melon), Glitz Afternoon Muse (banana), Sassafras Lass (strawberry), Crate Emma’s shoppe (wood); Letter Stickers: Cosmo Cricket (3 different ‘Tiny Type’), Pink Paislee (brown); Embellishments: Maya Road Journaling Card, Fancy Pants Die-cut (word).
Helene this is just supr stunning, I love the bright colours you have used and the title flags are stunning. Great job. Melxx
ReplyDeleteBawwww what a sweetie your daughter is. Love those photos!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic layout. Love the flags, saw them as a birthday thing the other day and thought that I must incorporate them into a layout myself. Love that you have used the 'offcuts' form the notebook punch for a banner too.
What a sweet layout!!! The colours you have chosen are just perfect :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for entering this fortnights challenge at the Lollipop Ladies.
