This layout is made for the April challenge at Show Us Your Stuff. Thay have an awesome pastel moodboard to be inspired by this month. You should also include a handmade embellishment. Here is my take on it:
I made an Easter layout with "Easter embellishments". The photo shows DD and her friend decorating ester eggs. They were both painting and decorating with stickers. I cut out some eggs from a pattern paper and asked DD to decorate them with stickers as they did on the real eggs on the photo. Those are my handmade embellishments.

This is a layout that I made just for fun. This time I used a patterned paper as background. I have not done that for ages as I thought that would not work together with water colors and acrylic Paints backgrounds. It was fun to try and I actually loved the result.
I added blue water color, lime green mist and cerise acrylic paint to the background paper.

Here is my DT-layout for ARTastic's April challenge. The inspiration piece by Roy de Maistre is called Frozen Music. The criteria is swirls.
Sometimes our daughter makes a kind of drawing that looks a bit like the inspirational piece. I asked her to draw one in the same colors as the inspiration picture and used it as a patterned papers. So there you will find my swirls.

Scrap The Girls has an awesome color combination as inspiration this month! I loved the colors and used them all in different ways - water colors, acrylic paint, patterned papers, ink and embellishments. I also added some gold as the details on the cups.
