The inspiration piece at ARTastic this month is “Tea Time 2012” by Michael Duncan. It’s a hand cut 53 layer stencil! And of course the criteria is to use stencils/masks. Here’s my DT-layout:
I didn’t use 35 stencils... (And you don’t have to). I started with gesso on a template with cameras. Then I added some mist to make the cameras visible. I also used templates for doodling and to make different pattern with acrylic paint. Here are some close ups:
The photo shows DD on her way to the grocery store. Nowadays she is the one who writes the shopping list and she is SO proud.
