Our new kitchen

April’s challenge at ARTastic is to be inspired by ‘Café on the Left Bank’ by Julie Podstolski. Your layout should also be “food related”. Looking at my layout you may ask where the food theme is. It’s in the boxes – containing our new kitchen! They will start building it after Easter so we will live in a mess for a while… Here’s my take on the challenge:
I love the colors in this pencil drawing. Isn’t it inspiring?
The background paper is decorated with acrylic paint and black gesso. There is also a lot of fuzzy cutting on this page.
The black flowers are hand drawn.
Thanks for looking!!! I hope you want to join in on the challenge! I would love to put my vote on YOU at the end of the month!!!

  1. Sooooo Much to love about this Layout....
The Fussy Cutting, the background, the layers & those Black Hand drawn Flowers!! ALL is FANTASTIC!
    Have a Wonderful Easter... ♥

  2. Ai,meu Deus!!!
É cada LO mais incrível do que o outro,
    lindíssimo Helene.

  3. Helene, this lo is so artistic! simply a mater piece. I love the way you did your bacground and way to go for all the fussy cutting!

P.S. Fick nya kitet med posten idag. Ooh va mycket fint! Tack så mycket! *jätteglad*

    Kram Maria

  5. Helene, totally love this style! Everything is so random but comes together so beautifully!!

  6. Superb, I love that harlequin tape with the bright colours.
Hope the Kitchen building is going well. :)
    Happy Easter.

Thanks for leaving a comment! It really makes my day!!!
