Where’s the winter?

This LO is about the warm weather we have had in Sweden this winter. It has been almost 10ᵒC (Celsius degrees) which means no snow… At least not in the southern part.

The LO is made for a sketch challenge at Scrap Perra (a Swedish webshop).

I wanted the whole layout to look a bit like the rainy weather we have so I used some snowflake dies on beige papers to make it look like withered plants (which is what we have instead of snow)… The burlap is colored with some gesso and brown Distress Ink.

The background is embossed with transparent snowflakes. I have sprayed some Glimmer Mists over them to make them more visible.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments!!! It really makes my day!!!

  2. Gorgeous work!!! 10 degrees celsius would be sooo cold here!!! I would love to experience snow though, at least once! A white Christmas would be lovely! BTW - I'm a new follower! LOL! I thought I was already! Sorry it took me sooo long! :D
