Today I will show you a layout that I made just for fun. I used a lot of pink and red to match the photo.
I used pink watercolor and white mist on the background. The hearts are decorated with pink Micro breads and red glass beads.
The text die-cut are painted with gold acrylic paint.

Ball race
There's a new fun sketch up at Let's Get Sketchy today! Here is my interpretation:
I added neon orange and neon yellow acrylic paint on the background. I also splashed cerise, lime green and black mist. I also stamped in a lot of different colors on the layered papers beside the photo. Here are two close-ups:

Jungle hut
ARTastic has a cool challenge this month. I love the inspiration painting and I love the criteria - to use paint on your work. Here is my interpretation:
The painting inspired me to the jungle theme and to add acrylic paint with a spatel on my background. I have made the jungle hut shown on the photo to our daughter and both her and her friends love to play in it. It even has swings rope ladders and trapezes to her soft toys. :-)

Happy Valentines day!
Happy Valentines day! This is a layout that I made just for fun. It is a way to remember all the loving things that my daughter use to say to me. I made it very "Valentine-ish" with a lot of pink and red.

Strike the pose
This layout is made for a challenge at scrapbook.com. The challenge is to use a sport photo and the twist is to use a heart or the word love. Here is my interpretation:
To match the papers on the right side of the photo - and to highlight the photo - I painted the black line to the left on the paper. I added some black Micro Beads on a small part of the line. The black hearts are chipboards colored with a black pen. I also added some grey water color and black splashes of mist on the background.

New Years Eve
I had a lot of fun creating this DT layout for Let's Get sketchy!
The fireworks are made with acrylic paint on a mask. I used three different colors/shades on each firework. When adding them wet in wet they blend together. Before the paint dried I also added glitter in different colors. This makes the glitter dry in the paint without using any glue product.
To the left of the layout I splashed white watercolor, white and black mist. I also stamped with silver and gold. The shimmer "framing" the photos is made using brads, rhinestones stickers, sequins, Prima Glass Beads and Prima Micro Beads.
